Backstory[]
The Super Hero Headquarters is a base for S.H.I.E.L.D. located in the sleepy town of Disney Springs.
Trivia[]
- The shop was originally made to tie into the film Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) and certain screens reference SHIELD's battle with HYDRA from the beginning of said film.
- The map with statuses of nine SHIELD shadow facilities is taken from the comic Secret Warriors #1 (2009).
- The clocks contain some references to Marvel. One clock lists the time on Xandar, a planet affiliated with the Nova Corps and Guardians of the Galaxy. Another has the time in Tahiti, referencing Project: T.A.H.I.T.I. from the series Agents of SHIELD which resurrected Agent Coulson.
- There are various details throughout the shop such as Stark Industries technology, wanted posters for super-villains, and screens explaining the bios of super-heroes.[1]
- The Marvel mythos is also referenced in the Indiana Jones themed restaurant Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar where scraps of a plane called the, "Iron
Fireman" appear and the keys of, "Howard S." are in the lost & found.
