"Super Food, Super Service"
Shawarma Palace is a dining-service in Avengers Campus, inspired by the film The Avengers (2012).
History[]
Backstory[]
Shawarma Palace was a New York City restaurant established in 1963 and was run by a man named Jimmy. The restaurant was visited by the Avengers, shortly after the Battle of New York.[1] Because of this, Shawarma Palace boomed in popularity and began adopting the affairs of superheroes as a gimmick. After Ultron devastated the nation of Sokovia, Shawarma Palace raised $35,000 in relief funds. When Tony Stark opened Avengers Campus in Orange, California, they set up a food-stand there.
Development history[]
Shawarma Palace is inspired by a brief gag from the 2012 film the Avengers where Iron Man suggests they go get shawarma, then the post-credit scene having them all eating shawarma.
Trivia[]
