The Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division AKA S.H.I.E.L.D. is a fictional military spy-agency from Marvel Comics.
Description[]
Mission[]
The Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement, and Logistics Division was an international intelligence-agency supported by the US government. They were aligned with the Avengers and closely tied to Stark Industries for their technological needs. For many years, SHIELD was secretly being controlled by the Nazi organization HYDRA who used SHIELD as a shadow-government, though since, SHIELD and HYDRA have been depicted as separate organization and enemies.
