In the plot of Disney California Adventure's seasonal Oogie Boogie Bash event, the bogeyman Oogie Boogie assembles a large amount of villains to assist in his takeover of the Disney California Adventure regions. This includes villains assembled from Marvel Comics, to assist in his activities in Avengers Campus.
Description[]
Mission[]
Around Halloween season, the bogeyman Oogie Boogie from the realm of Halloween Town uses a mysterious portal located in, "Villains Grove" (potentially in Redwood Creek, Grizzly Peak, California) to assemble various villains. Oogie Boogie primarily dispersed these allies throughout regions of California to assist in a hedonistic takeover.
Outreach[]
Oogie Boogie himself made his headquarters out of the Carthay Circle Theatre at the intersection of Buena Vista Street and Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles, California. Also in Buena Vista Street, he summoned the undead musician/murderer Ernesto de la Cruz who put on a musical-performance outside of the theatre. Nearby in the Hollywood area, the villainous socialite Cruella DeVil put on her own dark fashion show while the witch Madam Mim held a dark magic-show. In the likewise nearby Paradise Gardens Park, he summoned Doctor Facilier.
In Avengers Campus California in the city of Orange, Oogie dispersed the witch Agatha Harkness and an alternate-universe, zombie version of Captain America. Agatha would make her base in the Ancient Sanctum of the Vishanti, manifesting chaos energy from a portal in the ruins. Meanwhile at an amusement-pier, the Boogie summoned the sadistic child Sid Phillips to torment toy residents of the fairgrounds.
In the town of Grizzly Peak near the portal's location, the dark fairy Maleficent and villainous Mother Gothel were active while various mortals found themselves exploring Villains Grove. The woods of Villain Grove would connect to the lairs and presences of multiple villainous figures, not summoned directly by the bogeyman.
