Oogie Boogie is the bogeyman who resides in the outskirts of the realm Halloween Town in a lair beneath a treehouse in a sunken lake where he uses twisted gambling machines to torture and murder. He appears similar to a large anthropomorphic burlap sack, filled with bugs and a serpent while assisted by his henchmen Lock, Shock & Barrel.

At Halloween he is known to be active in the mortal world, summoning villainous allies through the woods of, "Villain Grove". On at-least one occasion having summoned the sorceress Agatha Harkness and undead alternate-reality version of Captain America to torment Avengers Campus California.

Oogie Boogie is the titular central character of this event in Disney California Adventure. During this event, the Avengers Campus character of Agatha Harkness mentioned herself as having been summoned by Oogie Boogie, implying likewise for other Marvel villains featured at the event.

Haunted Mansion Holiday[]
Oogie Boogie appears in the exit crypt scene, giving out deranged Christmas gifts with his henchmen. His likeness is also featured throughout the ride.

- The Haunted Mansion mythos has also been referenced in Avengers Campus via Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT! where the Collector has a maquette of the mansion's Hellhound on his desk.
- Oogie Boogie and L.C. Clench are both Disney Villains identified as working alongside Marvel Villains.
- Sid Phillips and his toys from Toy Story are other characters summoned by Oogie Boogie for the Oogie Boogie Bash. Toy Story has had some connections to the Avengers Campus mythos, such as the appearances of the Little Green Men.
