Mary Jane "MJ" Watson is a character from Marvel Comics who traditionally serves as the sassy and confident love interest to Spider-Man. In the Disney Parks, the Earth-65 version of the character Mary Jane "Em Jay" Watson from, "Spider-Gwen" comics is explicitly referenced. This version of MJ is the childhood best-friend turned rival of Gwen Stacy's Spider-Woman, and that reality's Carnage.

Mary Jane Watson was the co-founder and presumed lead vocalist/guitar player of the band The Mary Janes. Her drummer was Gwen Stacy, a member of W.E.B.. The Mary Janes might have been active in Avengers Campus California and/or Avengers Campus Paris at some point, due to Gwen working with WEB there.
