Description[]
"Flik's Fun Fair" was a miniature fair for insects filled with greenery like moss and clovers. The park was contained within a high-tech terrarium from PYM Technologies and likely used machinery shrunken by Pym Particles. The fair was originally located in Anaheim, California, somewhere along Route 66.[2]

- Bug's Life Theatre: This was an underground theatre-venue within the fair which hosted shows such as, "It's Tough to Be a Bug".
- Flik's Flyers: Flik's Flyers is a spinner attraction made from plant materials, boxes, and makeshift leaf-balloons by the ant, "Flik".
- Francis' Ladybug Boogie: This was a shaded teacup type attraction around a 45 rpm record.
- Heimlich's Chew Chew Train: This was a simple train which passed through a Casey Jr. Cookies box and a mostly eaten watermelon.

Flik's Fun Fair was an amusement park made from scraps and debris by ants in California, lead by the inventor ant, "Flik".[3] The Fun Fair was discovered by human superhero Scott Lang who requested his benefactor Hank Pym grow the fairgrounds, only to be turned down by Pym. The park was contained by the company PYM Technologies and kept within Avengers Campus California by Ant-Man and the Wasp as an amusement park for ants.
Development history[]
Flik's Fun Fair was the setting for A Bug's Land, an area of Disney California Adventure themed to the film A Bug's Life (1998) and which shut down in 2018 to make way for Avengers Campus. Miniaturized versions of the land were added to meet 'n' greets as a tribute and modernization of Flea Circus attractions which used small mechanics to trick guests into believing fleas were within.

A Bug's Land is also referenced in Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure where the honorary bug glasses of It's Tough to Be a Bug appear in WEB's Gear Grabber, and a vehicle called HEIMLICH appearing in the utilidoors.

The Buena Vista Bugle[]
The newspaper had some stories covering A Bug's Land and its characters. One notable of which being, "Entomologists Magnify Bizarre Bug Colony", covering how a group of entomologists discovered Flik's Fun Fair outside of Buena Vista Street.[4] Flik and Princess Atta also appeared as, "Sweethearts" in the celebrities spotted section while Hopper appeared in a different issue as a, "Villain on the Town".[5][6]

- The giant Christmas-lights of PYM Test Kitchen are repurposed from the gates of A Bug's Land.[7]
- In the Fun Fair was a box for Cowboy Crunchies, the fictional cereal brand from the Toy Story films, another Pixar movie referenced in Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure.
