Eson the Searcher is a Marvel Comics character who serves as main-antagonist of the attraction Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. In the Comics, he is the Celestial with the purpose of acting as their quester and seeker.

Background[]
Eson the Searcher is a cosmic entity known as a Celestial. He has spent eons watching the planet Terra (or Earth) and its dominant species the Terrans (humans). Eson was obsessed with rewriting time to create a, "Perfect world" which would cause the presumed death and destruction of countless lives.
Cosmic Rewind[]
Eson appeared outside of Earth's orbit where there was a Nova Ship transporting Terrans to the planet Xandar. Eson stole the ship's Cosmic Generator in order to create a rift in time which would transport him to the Big Bang to, "Erase an error". Eson was pursued via the Terrans in Starjumpers alongside the Guardians of the Galaxy in their ship, the Milano.
The Milano and Starjumpers pursued Eson through time, from the Big Bang to the formation of the Milky Way and Earth. Ultimately, Eson was defeated by the Guardians leading him into a trap where Star Blaster ships of the Nova Corps bound the Celestial. Eson's further fate is unknown.

- It is unclear what the, "Error" which Eson intended to correct is.
- Eson may be further alluded to in Mission: BREAKOUT by a letter from the Collector, instructing bounty-hunter Jeutar Mörat to follow a mysterious entity to Earth.
- Eson's voice-actor Fred Tatasciore has voiced a variety of Marvel characters, including Groot in Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT!.
