The Einherjar is the elite royal army of Asgard, ruled by Asgard's king. They would police Asgard and the Nine Realms.

Einherjar armour is in display within the Collector's Fortress. Their shields are also mounted on a wall of Asgard weaponry.

- In Marvel, the Einherjar are Asgardians while in mythology they are undead Norse soldiers brought to Valhalla by the valkyries.
