Wade Wilson AKA Deadpool or The Merc with a Mouth is a fictional anti-hero and mercenary/assassin from Marvel Comics.
History[]
Background[]
Wade Wilson AKA Deadpool is a psychotic Canadian mercenary with a raunchy sense of humour, who frequently made quips including those referencing his universe as being a piece of fiction. Deadpool's operations made the Avengers place him on a, "Do Not Contact" list in their database. He appears to be partners with Vanessa Carlysle, while associated with Blind Al and Pete Wisdom.
Avengers Campus[]
Deadpool appeared alongside the mutant "Wolverine" in Avengers Campus California and Avengers Campus Paris. While on this mission, Deadpool stopped to tell children's stories featuring them to an audience of Avengers Campus Recruits, to Deadpool's dismay. Deadpool would also be seen dancing atop the Avengers Headquarters, and posing along the Avengers.
Appearances[]
Avengers Campus (Disney California Adventure)[]
In 2024, Deadpool (based off of his appearances in the Fox live-action Deadpool films) was announced to be a limited time meet & greet character for Disney California Adventure. This was done to promote the third Deadpool film Deadpool and Wolverine. Disneyland released various promotional images of Deadpool throughout Disney California Adventure.
PYM Test Kitchen[]
Deadpool's chimichanga was a limited time meal option during promotions for Deadpool and Wolverine.
Storytime with Deadpool[]
This was a live-performance satirizing Enchanted Tales with Belle in the Magic Kingdom, in which Deadpool told guests fairy-tales such as "Beauty-Pool and the Wolve-Beast".
The Story Time with Deadpool Holiday Special[]
Avengers Campus (Walt Disney Studios Park)[]
In 2024, Deadpool (based off of his appearances in the Fox live-action Deadpool films) was announced to be a limited time meet & greet character for Avengers Campus.

Trivia[]
- Deadpool may be indirectly referenced in Rogers: The Musical via a promotion for chimichangas, which are famously Deadpool's favourite food.
- Deadpool made various fourth-wall breaks and innuendos in Storytime with Deadpool. This included him:
- Saying he spent a lot of time on his knees convincing someone to let him into Disneyland (a joke about him performing oral sex as a bribe).
- Him saying that his cultural references are as relevant and never-ending as Splash Mountain, a ride which was shut down due to being based on the infamously racist Disney film The Song of the South (1946), but given a replacement attraction with lacklustre reception.
- Deadpool joking about someone being late due to having to read all of the terms and conditions on Disney+. This was a joke regarding the then recent controversy around the death of park guest Kanokporn Tangsuan, who had a fatal allergic reaction in Walt Disney World from a restaurant claiming to not have the allergens effecting her. When Tangsuan's widower attempted suing the Walt Disney Company, the company attempted to discard the lawsuit due to him having agreed to the terms and conditions of Disney+.
- Prior to Deadpool being announced for Disney California Adventure, his presence in Avengers Campus was frequently joked due to the character's raunchy humour.
- Deadpool was referenced in Avengers Assemble: Flight Force, long before his Fox counterpart was connected to the MCU.
- One of the promotional images released for Deadpool's meet & greets showed him on the bridge for Disney California Adventure's San Fransokyo area, based on Big Hero 6. Big Hero 6 is incidentally based on a Marvel Comic, and is referenced via easter-egg in the queue for Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure.
- The name of The Story Time with Deadpool Holiday Special is a reference to Star Wars' infamous "Star Wars Holiday Special".
