Matthew "Matt" Murdock AKA Daredevil is a superhero from Marvel Comics. He is a blind catholic lawyer in Hell's Kitchen, New York who has enhanced senses and martial-arts skills that he uses to fight crime at night as a costumed vigilante.

History[]

Matt Murdock is a lawyer in Hell's Kitchen, New York City who runs the legal firm Nelson and Murdock Attorneys at Law with his close-friend, Foggy Nelson. At some point the attorneys won a big case which made the news and were presumably responsible for convicting Wilson Fisk AKA The Kingpin. They would go on to serve as the attorneys for Harlem vigilante and hero-for-hire, Luke Cage. In the late 2010s, Kingpin was released from prison much to the shock of the attorneys.

Hollywoodland[]

The Daily Bugle mentions an article on the firm winning a big case on page seven.[1] Another newspaper used would reference them with another story on page 7 titled, "Hell's Kitchen Helps Harlem Hero", alluding to Luke Cage.[2]Another was a story referencing them at being shocked at Wilson Fisk's release from prison.[3]

Trivia[]

  • The, "Big Case" which won by the law firm may be a reference to when they persecuted crime-lord Wilson "The Kingpin" Fisk and had him sent to prison between the first and second seasons of Daredevil.
  • Various elements in the parks were influenced by the Netflix series Daredevil such as the 15th Police Precinct originating from this show and the New York Bulletin being popularized as a stand-in for the Daily Bugle.
