Anti-Heroes

Central characters (particularly from Marvel Comics) of dark moral ambiguity such as super-heroes who function like villains (I.E. The Punisher or the Hulk), otherwise villainous characters with heroic characterization (I.E. Deadpool or Venom), or major characters of feigned political neutrality causing them to be ambivalent to hero and villain sides (I.E. Namor the Sub-Mariner).
