"Higher, Further, Faster" ― Carol Danvers
Carol Danvers is a intergalactic superhero, known as Captain Marvel.
History[]
Background[]
Carol Danvers was a U.S. army aviator known as the, "Avenger" who worked alongside the secret alien Kree scientist, Mar-Vell. She presumably had a close relationship with fellow aviator Maria Rambeau, and was an, "Aunt" to her daughter, Monica. Mar-Vell was part of Project: PEGASUS which experimented on the Tesseract, resulting in an incident where Carol absorbed the cube's powers.
Following this, Carol was abducted by the Kree who wiped her memories to condition her to be a soldier in their endless race-war with the Skrulls. Carol would eventually return to Earth and discover her true heritage. On earth, she became allies with Nick Fury and eventually a member of the Avengers, a group which Nick Fury assembled in her name.
Stark Expo[]
At some point, Captain Marvel was contacted by Black Widow to assist her, Thor and Spider-Man in a fight with Red Skull and HYDRA in Paris. Red Skull was overpowering the superheroes using the Casket of Ancient Winters, powered by a stolen Arc Reactor made with Vibranium. Captain Marvel was able to use her own energy blasts to deflect the Red Skull's icy beams before using her powers to disintegrate him.
Avengers Campus[]
When Tony Stark began making Avengers Campus California in 2019, Carol Danvers was involved and attended the outpost.
Sam Wilson AKA Captain America called Captain Marvel to appear aboard the Disney Wish, to assist him, Ms. Marvel, Ant-Man and the Wasp in fighting off an invasion of Ultron sentries. After defeating the robot's army, Captain Marvel left as she needed to save a world across the galaxy from Kree warheads, launched at Earth.
Captain Marvel was the only Avengers member available to assist Iron Man in warding off the Kree missiles, causing Stark to also enlist the help of recruits within his space-ships, the Hypersonique. While in space, the joined forces managed to take out all of the Kree warheads.
One night while in Avengers Campus Paris, Danvers crushed one of Spider-Man's rogue Spider-Bots under her boot after it was tracked down to the PYM Kitchen by Redwing.

Trivia[]
- Carol's successor Ms. Marvel AKA Kamala Khan from the comics is indirectly referenced in Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure by referencing Kamala's best friend Bruno Carrelli as a member of W.E.B.. Kamala has also appeared as a live-performed character at Avengers Campus.
- There is a possible plot contrivance caused by Captain Marvel appearing in both Avengers: Quantum Encounter and Avengers Assemble: Flight Force as the two attractions take place at the same time, hence Tony not being able to call Ant-Man or Captain America for help, while Carol mentions leaving to fight said missiles after the fight.
