History[]
Biography[]
Captain America[]
Steve Rogers was a World War II solder who was experimented on with a super-soldier serum. Rogers became the super-hero, "Captain America" until 1945, when he was frozen in ice in the crash-landing of a HYDRA plane. In 2011, Rogers was awoken by the organization SHIELD who recruited him to be a member of the Avengers.
Zombies[]
Around 2018, a bacterial infection originating from the Quantum Realm was unleashed on the Earth by a reckless experiment conducted by scientist Hank Pym. This infection caused those exposed to become mindless, walking corpses with a cannibalistic hunger for flesh and bite which spread the infection. The Avengers were sent to fight the zombies, only to be infected themselves by a miniature Hank Pym.
Captain America in particular would find himself taken from his universe of origin and inserted into another where the zombie apocalypse never took place. This crossing of realities happened around Halloween and might have been the result of the bogeyman, Oogie Boogie, who had also recruited villainous sorceress Agatha Harkness. They may have been summoned via the portal of, "Villains Grove" like many of these villains were. The zombie was unleashed onto the Avengers Campus in the city of Orange, California.
