Princess Shuri is the princess of Wakanda and genius younger sister of King T'Challa AKA Black Panther, who became his successor.

History[]

Origins[]

Shuri is the princess of Wakanda and technological genius specialized in the usage of Vibranium. After her brother opened up Wakanda to the outside world, he sent her on a diplomatic mission to New York City along with his ally Nakia. Here, the two dined at the restaurant Shawarma Palace. Some time later, Shuri was seen attending a Coachella.

Around the 2020s, Shuri was a member of the Wakanda Design Group. In this group, she collaborated with Tony Stark of Stark Industries to design the Avengers Deployment Vehicles, Vibranium powered motor vehicles planned to be used by the Avengers in Avengers Campus Paris.[1] Shuri also worked with Iron Man and Spider-Man to design the Super Hero Academy located aboard the Disney Wish. When the Taskmaster robbed Wakanda's mines of some vibranium, Shuri was assembled to meet on the subject with her brother and the Wakanda Design Group's leader Akima to discuss this.

Black Panther[]

Under unknown circumstances, T'Challa died. Shuri would go on to become the Queen of Wakanda and successor to her brother, being given the herb he was to gain super-strength. As Black Panther, Shuri became one of the heroes active in Avengers Campus California where she brought many aspects of Wakandan culture to pay-tribute to her late brother. As Black Panther, she might have had a run-in with Namor the Sub-Mariner, ruler of the underwater nation of Talokan.
